Cluey's Secondary English learning programmes are based on the New Zealand Curriculum for K-6 and focus on core literacy skills, including reading and writing techniques in the early years, and grammar and punctuation in the senior years. In 2010 she commenced studying her TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers Of another Language) Certificate. Lori has worked for over 20 years assisting people aged 15-64 years with skills needed to enter or return to mainstream education. Lori is confident in building relationships with a variety of students, identify their needs and solving these needs with acquired expertise and mentorship.

Each student鈥檚 individual learning journey is supported through a series of live face-to-face sessions with an expert tutor matched to the student's needs. We cover all the theory and examples needed to ensure comprehension, and our sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging.
Our expert tutors offer guidance through demonstration and worked examples and assign targeted practice questions to help students master the topics and concepts covered.
After each session, personalised feedback is provided to help students and parents track their progress.
